Hi there! I'm Sam Cameron, and my Nevada County story began back in 1987 when my family packed up and moved from Portland, Oregon, to Lake Wildwood. I grew up here, went to high school here, and developed an appreciation for the place I still call home.

After graduation, I headed to San Francisco, where I launched a career brokering exotic sports cars. I worked with Cars Dawydiak in San Francisco and San Francisco Sports Cars in San Carlos, selling everything from modern supercars to vintage classics and competition vehicles. Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren—you name it, and chances are we had one in the showroom!

It was a fascinating business that taught me a lot about matching people with something they're truly passionate about. As it turns out, finding the right home isn't all that different.

In 2022, I made my way back to Lake Wildwood full-time, and I'm happy to be home.

As a REALTOR® with Sierra Homes Realty, I get to explore some pretty incredible properties throughout Nevada County. While I appreciate a beautiful home as much as anyone, I'm especially interested in what makes a house work.

I'm a bit of a building science geek. High-performance homes, energy efficiency, blower door tests, conditioned attics, advanced framing, SIPs, ICF construction, ERVs, and HRVs—these are the kinds of things that get me excited. If you're curious about how a home is built, how it performs, or what makes one property different from another, we'll have plenty to talk about!

Since returning to Nevada County, I've reconnected with this wonderful community and met a whole lot of great folks along the way.
